Getting Started

Team Tulsa will have tryouts in the October/November timeframe. It is our policy that participants must try out each year. In other words, teams are not pre-determined from previous participation.

Tryouts are a time for you to practice your skills, meet our coaches, and get introduced to our club philosophy. It is also a time when we get to look at numbers of participants and skill level.

Before you participate in tryouts for any club or team, we recommend that you determine your goals for your volleyball participation. By knowing your goals, then you can more easily make decisions on opportunities provided.

During tryouts we sort players into teams by skills and competitive goals. Our desire is to give all interested girls a chance to play volleyball. Considerations on the numbers that we can accommodate include practice space, number of coaches, and number of participants per age group.

Following tryouts we will have a signing night by age group. Our practices will begin the end of Novemeber. There may be a few team specific activites prior to the practice start date.

We are not associated with a particular school and have the pleasure of having had players from school districts all over northeastern Oklahoma - Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bishop Kelley, Tulsa Public Schools, Bixby, Owasso, Bartlesville, Victory Christian, along with many surrounding elementary and middle schools.
